The possessed reserves of coal in Pakistan are in the provinces of Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan. The total coal reserves in that location are said to be around 185 billion tonnes. As of 2016, Pakistan has 3,377 million tons (MMst) of proven coal reserves, placing it 20th globally and representing approximately 0% of the world’s total coal reserves, which stand at 1,139,471 million tons (MMst).
