At first glance, a retaining wall seems basic. Its job is to hold soil in place. But the modern commercial retaining wall is about much more than erosion control. It's about architectural utility, safety, aesthetics, and longevity. Picture a retail plaza on a sloped lot. Without a retaining wall, parking would be minimal, building placement awkward, and landscaping an afterthought. Add a properly engineered wall, and suddenly the layout becomes smarter. Land becomes usable. Rainwater is managed. The site looks intentional.
